HAL - High speed Autonomous Logistics

HAL is a logistics robot that we intend to be used for warehouse tasks such as autonomous sorting and arranging of goods replacing any kind of human intervention.

The project is being implemented in 3 phases.In the first phase the robot is capable of autonomous picking and sorting tasks in a known environment

In the second phase the same functionalities of phase 1 are implemented but in a dynamic environment

In the third phase multiple robots are able to coordinate with each other and function as a swarm that is capable of handling all warehouse tasks.

The Robotic Operating System will be used to implement gmapping and localisation processes for Robotic perception. Embedded systems is implemented for the functioning of the drive mechanism and forklift.The mechanical subsystem will determine the functionality and the structure of the entire robot.
